The EU’s action plan for women in research, innovation and startups will address persistent gender gaps and promote diversity, equality and inclusiveness in the European Research Area (ERA).

The plan aims to make the ERA the world’s most attractive place for women to work in research, innovation and startups by 2030. Mobilising all talents, regardless of gender, will foster the EU’s sustainable competitiveness.

NEXTCELL supports the objectives of the EU action plan by promoting equal opportunities and visibility for women across its consortium and activities. Women researchers and professionals are represented in scientific, technical and management roles within the project, contributing to decision-making, research implementation and stakeholder engagement.
