On June 5 and 6, the NEXTCELL project consortium came together in Porto, Portugal for its second General Assembly, hosted by INEGI.
The two-day event brought partners to discuss progress across all work packages, align upcoming milestones, and strengthen collaboration.
In a series of focused sessions, the consortium reviewed the objectives and tasks within each Work Package, highlighting technical achievements to date and identifying areas requiring further coordination. Partners presented status updates, shared insights from experimental data, and outlined upcoming activities.
A key moment was the guided visit to INEGI’s facilities, where participants had the chance to see the research and testing infrastructure that supports the NEXTCELL project.
A special thank you to Emanuel Lourenço and the entire INEGI team for their hospitality and organization throughout the event.
The hybrid format allowed for discussions, as we continue to push forward on the path toward next-generation battery solutions.
