NEXTCELL will host the upcoming highBATT EU Cluster webinar, bringing together several EU-funded projects working on next-generation Li-ion battery technologies. The event will feature contributions from NEXTCELL, HIGHSPIN, INTELLIGENT, and SiGNE, showcasing their latest progress and shared mission to accelerate the development of safer, more sustainable, high-performance batteries in Europe. The BATMAX project will also join the session to share complementary perspectives from the broader battery research landscape.
Together, the projects within the highBattEU cluster aim to support Europe’s green transition by targeting lower production costs, longer service lives with second-use opportunities, and reduced environmental impact across the battery lifecycle.
This first webinar will introduce the highBATT EU Cluster and present its vision for strengthening collaboration among projects focused on advanced battery materials, modelling approaches, and high-performance technologies.
During the session, each project will provide a short presentation outlining its technical focus and highlighting recent results.
The 90-minute webinar will include:
- An introduction to the highBATT EU Cluster
- Short presentations from participating projects
- A Q&A session and discussion among projects
