NEXTCELL will be presented at the upcoming AVL ThermOS™ Tech Day, taking place on 4 June 2026 at the Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain. The event is jointly organized by AVL and Clean Mobility & Thermofluids and focuses on battery safety, thermal management, degradation, and next-generation energy storage technologies.
As part of the Guest Speakers Session, Carlotta Francia from Politecnico di Torino will deliver a presentation entitled ‘Tailoring Cathode Material for Next-Generation Li-ion Batteries.’
The event will gather experts from universities, research centres, and industry across Europe to discuss key challenges related to lithium-ion battery safety, including thermal runaway, modelling approaches, degradation mechanisms, material limitations, and design strategies for future e-mobility applications.
